Where Would You Like to Go?

AFS has been exchanging students throughout the world for 60 years. Every year, 11,000 students in more than 50 countries study abroad with AFS. You might have a favorite destination or interest, or AFS will help you select a program from over 120 different year, semester, and summer programs. When you return home having learned a new language, made new life-long friends, and seen parts of the world, you’ll be an AFS Returnee, one of more than 325,000 people who went abroad with AFS when they were in high school.

Citrus View Scholarships Available

Thanks to the efforts of AFS Volunteers in the Citrus View local AFS Chapter, there is currently a total of more than $3000 of scholarship money available for the 2009-2010 AFS Year for Summer, Semester, and School year Programs for students from this chapter. The amount of the award varies and is based on: openness to other people and cultures, a desire to be an “ambassador” of American culture, the willingness to participate in a local chapter, the commitment to maintaining academic standards, and a willingness to share their experiences during their stay and upon their return with the local chapters, and the program length.
